The Impact Fusion Nail System is an advanced non-metal fixation solution designed to optimize alignment and stabilization of bone fractures, osteotomies, and arthrodeses.
The implants are made from a compound of PEEK and hydroxyapatite to promote osteoconduction. The nails are cannulated for precise K-wire guidance and include a tantalum bead at the distal tip as a depth marker on imaging.
The system includes multiple diameters and lengths. Each nail is trimmable; a measured cut guide supports trimming before implantation, and the source states that a nail may also be trimmed after implantation.
The source identifies a compound of 80% PEEK and 20% hydroxyapatite.
Cannulation supports precise K-wire guidance.
A tantalum bead at the distal tip serves as a depth marker on imaging.
