Position Description
SUMMARY: Nvision is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring accurate inventory counts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and a deep understanding of supply chain operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure inventory counts are up-to-date
  • Track inventory movement and identify discrepancies or issues
  • Manage inventory storage and organization, including labeling and shelving
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and metrics
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Responsible for receiving orders from Sales Reps
  • Entering data into the ERP system
  • Responsible for fulfilling orders (based on Delivery Tickets)
  • Shipping and receiving responsibilities
  • Maintain daily transaction records
  • Support, coordinate, and communicate with the quality assurance team
  • Uphold Quality standards in all responsibilities, following QMS procedures and processes
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and processes
  • Experience with inventory tracking software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
  • Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials along with occasional exposure to cadaveric specimens
